On Native Soil

After watching the movie On Native Soil, definitely changed my perspective on the 9/11. It revealed a lot of the problem that occurred and how they tried to fix them. For example, the communication between the FAA, they caused a lot of chaos and confusion. When the first plane crashed into tower one, they were trying to figure out if it was an accident or if it was an attack. And basically when the second plane crashed into tower two, they decided to act, as if this was an attack. And by this time it was too late. So, I believe that Bush was not taking this situation serious and didn’t care. For example when he went on vacation, while the families of t he thousands of victims mourned to lives of their loves ones. They looking for bush to step up and help them and by going to war was not the type of help they were looking for. So, after watching the documentary, On Native Soil what is your perspective about the movie? How would you have felt if you apart of the family of one of the mourning families? And do you think the 9/11 committee explained what happened, or just blamed others?

  1. I was actually very dissapointed at times I felt angry that human lifes were sacraficed for the confusion and laxed rules of FAA, incompetence of Homeland Security, and the delayed action of our Former President George W Bush Jr. How could the FAA make a phone call that stated we have located the plane and its currently in the air when that same plane had already crashed into the Tower 1 ten minutes prior. Hijacked Plane number 1 had been on the news when it first hit while ambulances rushed to try to get the burning victims out and FAA reported it to still be in the air. It seem like the jobs of airline security prevente absouletly nothing! I dont blame families of the victims on 9/11 to demand some answers, still they were denied by our incompetent president then finally after constant negative pressure he selected a committee for them. I believe they pointed the fingers to others for the laxed response of 9/11, never taking full responsibilty for hundreds of deaths. Its unfortunate that this event had to happen. After watching this event I question who is watching out for my safety.

i agreed with the movie completely. i feel as though bush had damn near everything to do with the 9/11 attack. The movie showed comical, but factual evidence of how participated/absent he was around and after the event.
if i was related to one of the victims i would be lost for words. I am/would be very disappointed and angry in the way Bush reacted with his lazy, silent ways and would want an explanation/confession. The committee tried to blame everyone but them selves for: the close relation ship with the ben lad ins, investing so much of our money in and with the sadi's, not taking the terroist memo, not making it clear to the airports to be on gaurd heavily (with or with out terroist attack memeos), it was pathetic that they couldn't take what they dished out.
This all just showed how weak our country&security was under Bush's attack, i mean watch..lol.
