I enjoyed the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. I found it interesting that he took a stance on how ignorant Former President George W. Bush Jr. Micheal Moore included in his documentary Bush reaction to when the World Trade Towers were hit. The first thing Bush did when the towers were hit, was absolutely nothing while a plane was in the building and floors above it full of working people were slowly dying due to the fire; Bush sat there doing nothing. I believe in a time of emergency there could have possibly have been over a million things he could have done. Ten Minutes after the first attack Bush then decided to cancel his reading to the children and make a move to support his country. How did you feel when you found out Bush's Reaction to the World Trade Towers being hit, and did you feel safe that the president had handle it to the best of his ability?

Fahrenheit 9/11 wasn’t so much about 9/11; it was really just a documentary to ridicule George Bush. I really dislike George Bush but at times I thought that it was just too much. Michael Moore is a master manipulator. He uses imagery and sound to manipulate the thoughts and emotions of his viewers. Also, not all of comments were that accurate, or they were just too vague. I do however think that the government responded terribly to 9/11 and that they could have done so much better.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you realtalklani!
you literally took the words right out of my mouth.I felt that bush's reaction to the towers being hit was LAZY & SUSPICIOUS. My question to the people is what did you expect Bush to do? His&daddy's best friends just betrayed their (pointless, money filled) friendship! He was in shock;or is that what they wanted to precieve? The other side that i see is that bush already knew the plan;Either way it's disturbing and wrong.
As far as him saying he handled it to the best of his ability, i am speechless. If helping to the best of your ability means waiting literally mounths after the attack, you bomb the part of the country that you KNEW had no relation to the attack, then i never felt safe in ANY type of situation with him being president. This was't an event where our citizens should be afraid of flying planes or going into a skyscraper..this was an event to show you to really pay attention to your president and follow him/be more involved because some people who we vote into office have croked mind sets.
I agree with both Real Talk Lani and Roni. That Micheal Moore said, without actually saying, how former president bush is a complete idiot. I say that for one main reason…Bush does not know how to react when something like a terrorist attack happens. In Micheal Moore’s documentary, Bush just seem a little to “chill” about the whole event. I believe that when Bush found out, that the Twin Towers, a national land mark, he should have left that school that elementary school. One to make sure those students are safe and two because personally I believe he had bigger problems on his hand than listening to a children’s book. I think bush didn’t get the job done fast enough and to satisfy the American people.
